3PARAGRAPH REFLECTION

When finished write a 3 paragraph reflection on the class. What were your favorite/least favorite projects and why? What were the most useful things you learned that you can use beyond this class?

My favorite part about photo class was being able to get out the class room environment to take pictures. I also liked really enjoyed doing photomontage, that had to be my favorite out of them all. I really hope to just do more of those in the future like a HUGE one. My second favorite project would have to be tripod lesson, I never knew that was how you did those kinds of pictures. It was really cool seeing me more than once in a single picture. The third project I had fun doing would be photo retouching along with light graffiti, these pictures were most like go out have more fun than what you did have type of pictures. The retouching was amazing to do because of seeing how pictures came to be.
I didn't really have a least favorite project but some projects I had difficulties with would be, the color wheel because there wasn't that many objects that deal with the colors I was going for. Another project I had difficulties with would be, exposure was also kind of a haul because you had to get the exact lightings. I liked all the projects and that's not a lie.

I learned how to do retouching, using adobe photo shop and all the tools that come with it. I not sure I used all the tools but the ones I did use came to me easy.  The adobe learner I could use for like photo albums

The meaning of my object;

My teddy; Is a reminder that i'm very sweet and cuddle when you get to truly know me,

My Clarinet; Shows that I am very musically inspired and love the sound of music and the way it makes me feel. Every musical instrument and sounds gives me a new feeling. I've been playing it since 8th grade.

My comb; I like to style hair and one day be able to show the world what i'm able to do.

My soccer ball; I love to play a lot of  sports but soccer is my number one sport i've been playing it since 3rd grade.

My drawing; I'm a huge drawer I love to show people different things and drawing puts me in a happy place.

My 8 ball; One day I would like to be able to completely tell the future, I usually have deja vous.

My charger; I am always excited for the next big thing I am always pumped up and charge to get inspired.

My keys; I loveee love loveee to travel and explore new options. Traveling the world is something I want to keep doing forever.

My navy launder; I would like to serve our country with something big and be apart of a service.

QUESTIONSS

3. Answer in paragraph form: Should images of models that have been Photo shopped be labeled? Why or why not?

My personal opinion on photo shopped pictures is that they should be labeled. Especially if they were photo shopped for weight lose commercials, they are putting out false advertisement and messing with peoples minds. So putting specific details of what was photo shopped in the specific picture would be great so people wouldn't be wasting money. This is why it would be great to just know what things we can and can't trust, because we know what works and what doesn't.


 4. Answer in paragraph form: If steroids are illegal for athletes, should Photoshop be illegal for models?

I don't think photo shopping should be illegal as long as they are labeled or have the real picture beside it. As long as they can say things are photo shopped it shouldn't be a problem. If I'm being honest they are two totally different things; steroids and photo shop. One is permanent and the other is temporary.

For this project I something I believe I worked well for me would be taking the picture and getting them into the angles I wanted them in. The most challenging this about this project I say would be using different techniques with like shading and things because there wasn't that many options for you to choose from. Something id change would be my poses in the picture some of them caught me of guard but yet they show I'm having fun so I like them in a way. Techniques and tools I used throughout this project was burn tool, dodge tool, background settings and crop. For these tools id us burn tool m ore on the outside of thing to give them a sort of outlined look and id use the dodge tool on lighters and too more of dark areas to give them a glow theme look. Like I said before I think id use more of the things I used would be used on personal pictures and other pictures that need improvement in the future.

 For this project I believe I worked on the coloring really well. Something that was most challenging for me to do was get the right pictures I wanted to use because I don't like when others take my picture. Something I'd do differently would be have more fun with the project that way I could have experienced with things more and could have came up with better pictures. Also I could have had more patience so I could have done better. I'm not exactly sure of all the tools I used but some dealt with shading and others dealt with smudging and blending. I can use some of the thing I learned in class with like in the future for like weddings and baby picture if I wanted to touch them up just a little bit.
